ISSN MONTHLY Comhrá Cuppas

What is this Programme? The most important part of our work is to build a community where teachers and students can collaborate, share knowledge and support each other. As teachers ourselves, we know that working on bringing climate education into schools can be isolating.

Our Monthly Comhrá Cuppas are a unifying space to discover, discuss and exchange ideas and insights. Join the Irish Schools Sustainability Network for this monthly, online gathering to learn and discuss issues around education for sustainable development and global citizenship education.

Comhrá (pronounced co-raw) is an Irish word meaning "conversation," "dialogue," or "chat". It is used to refer to casual talks, the act of having a conversation, and can also describe a gathering for such discussions. Please note these will be carried out through English.

Most importantly they are a GUILT FREE ZONE. You don’t need to prepare anything, just boil the kettle, bring a cuppa and join us for a chat.

We will share ISSN programmes and events, Climate news / Global News and a snapshot of our CPD last month. We encourage you to explore, discuss and share what's happening in your schools in a relaxed and informal way. No experts, just educators sharing our passion for sustainability.

Who is this Programme for? Primary and Secondary School Teachers. Whether you are a sustainability / green school coordinator, or an educator approaching sustainability issues for the first time, ISSN Comhrá Cuppas is for you.
